Erdinger Oktoberfest comes to London’s Olympic Park

Following the huge success of their first year In 2017 with over 30,000 visitors, German brewer Erdinger are moving their Oktoberfest event to the former Olympics site and will create a huge traditional Bavarian beer hall for 5,000 people-a-day from Thursday September 27th till Sunday October 28th. 

The main marquee which will look like the outside of a 19th century open-plan Bavarian beer hall with wooden floors and walls will be equipped with over 220 bench tables to sit and dance on. 

As well as the beer hall the new site will have a fun fair and an outdoor beer garden with genuine wooden Alpine huts, transported from Germany for the month long event. There will be food stalls selling traditional Bavarian cuisine including Haxn (pork knuckles), Leberkäs (beef/pork loaf), Sauerkraut, and of course the world-famous Bratwurst sausages. Visitors will also have the opportunity to buy merchandise articles and souvenirs as traditional Bavarian clothing.

Where?

The ERDINGER Oktoberfest beer hall will be a five-minute walk from Stratford station, which has two underground lines (Central and Jubilee), Overground, DLR and national and international rail services.

Tickets start from £5 for general admission to the fun fair and beer garden:

£15 – £17entry to the beer tent
£20 – £32 entry for reserved seating
£187.50  for a special VIP area which includes complimentary food and drink all evening in a special elevated area.
