The festival that many London-revellers are awaiting just announced their stage splits plus additional artists who are set to perform. Lovebox returns this July for its biggest year yet at its new home Gunnersbury Park and with the already stellar lineup, you’ll be excited to hear OVO’s DVSN, Lewisham-native Novelist, Gilles Peterson, Tirzah and more have today been announced to blessing Lovebox’s many stages.
Speaking of stages the Main Stage plays host to a homecoming headlining performance from grime legend Skepta. There’s also appearances from alt-R&B star SZA, rap icons Wu-Tang Clan, prolific producer Diplo, the multi-talented Anderson .Paak and his live band The Free Nationals, and fast-rising UK R&B singer Mabel.
Noisey boasts a blend of the biggest names in hip hop and R&B. Heading up proceedings is acclaimed Long Beach rapper Vince Staples. Elsewhere, there’s charismatic South London MC Dave, enigmatic production duo The Blaze, plus French rap superstar MHD. Two of the best names in UK soul complete the line-up: Jacob Banks and Grace Carter.
Lovebox friend and favourite Jackmaster takes over for The Fact Stage: Jackmaster Presents Mastermix. BICEP will bring their revered live show to Gunnersbury Park for the occasion. Jackmaster himself will, of course, make an appearance with a genre-hopping DJ set, as will Floorplan (Detroit techno pioneer Robert Hood’s project with his daughter), Berlin-based DJ and producer Peggy Gou, and decidedly diverse selector Saoirse.
Over at Corona SunSets are a series of sets from some of the world’s best DJs. Parisian DJ Jeremy Underground and his mentor, the inimitable Kerri Chandler, join forces for their Underground Kaoz B2B project. Plus, there’s German house pioneer Motor City Drum Ensemble, and DJ, producer and all-round tastemaker Gilles Peterson joins the Lovebox line-up. Friday at Corona SunSets is rounded off by NTS favourite Moxie.
Meanwhile, the brand new Kopparberg Outsider stage will be taken over by Mike Skinner & Murkage Present Tonga. They’ll be taking their infamously raucous party to Gunnersbury Park, and bringing the best of the UK underground along for the ride: about-to-blow UK MC Ms Banks, master of bassline DJ Q, BBC 1Xtra’s Sian Anderson, grime veteran D Double E, the go-to producer for UK rap Steel Banglez, and sibling duo Star.One.
At Smirnoff House, don’t miss appearances from a series of selectors – all new to the Lovebox line-up – including Madam X, Jane Fitz, Cooly G, Geddes, Dan Beaumont and Donna Leake.
Finally, brand new stage The Hidden Jungle will house the Just Jam takeover. This cult audio-visual show features some of the hottest names in UK rap, grime and drill, with Skrapz, Suspect, K Trap, M Huncho, Big Zuu, Mowgli, Afro B, Amy Becker, Kenny Allstar and Tim & Barry all in attendance.
Childish Gambino will take to the Main Stage, fresh from the release of viral smash ‘This Is America’, as will experimental hip hop trio N.E.R.D – Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shay Haley – who made a welcome comeback this year. Elsewhere, there’s neo-soul collective The Internet, OutKast legend Big Boi, Lovebox favourite Annie Mac, Colombian-American R&B star Kali Uchis, XO signee Belly, and mysterious, Gambino-approved artist bLAck pARty.
At Noisey, Bonobo brings his acclaimed live show to Gunnersbury Park. One of the most exciting names in UK electronic music, Mura Masa, will be making an appearance as will outspoken Queens rapper Action Bronson, mask-wearing MC CASISDEAD and electronic duo Happy Meals. Also performing are new additions to the Lovebox line-up: Canadian R&B duo dvsn, South London vocalist Tirzah, emerging rapper Trillary Banks and rising DIY collective Franc Moody.
The Fact Stage hosts a vibrant billing, featuring some of the biggest DJs at the top of their game including German dance heavyweight Loco Dice, a DJ set from Jon Hopkins (fresh from the release of his acclaimed new album Singularity), Australian producer Mall Grab, house music’s next big thing Denis Sulta, Radio 1’s B.Traits, genre-blending selector Mella Dee, and Abandon Silence resident Andrew Hill.
Meanwhile at Corona SunSets, unconventional house hero Green Velvet leads the billing, followed by Manchester duo Solardo, Grammy nominees CamelPhat, the all-conquering Tensnake, Dublin’s Krystal Klear, disco ravers Hot Blood and Mr. M.
Saturday sees Kopparberg Outsider taken over by Shy FX Presents CULT.URE, for the latest in the UK underground icon’s series of exclusive parties. The man himself tops a line-up that includes independent MC Novelist (a new addition to the line-up), Birmingham producer Preditah, a B2B set from UK dance stalwart DJ Zinc and Paul Woolford’s alias Special Request, plus tastemaker Jamz Supernova ft Stush and South London newcomer Flohio.
Elsewhere, Smirnoff House is led by much-loved DJs, producers, label and party-throwers Secretsundaze. Elsewhere, there’s Monki, Lakuti, Eric Duncan Nadia Ksaiba, Anii, and Raw Silk…all new additions to the Lovebox line-up.
Finally, The Hidden Jungle is packed with hotly-tipped talent. Joining the party are Jossy Mitsu, Anz, Lil C, Naina (Reprezent) and Liana Rose.
To keep you fueled throughout the weekend, there’s a feast of delicious street food from the likes of Le Bab, Cheeky Burger, Yorkshire Burrito, Popdogs, Tiger Bites, Anna Mae’s and more.
Wash it all down with some delicious drinks. Make sure you head down to the renowned Smirnoff House where you can try the new Smirnoff Soda Fruit Smash serve and soak up those summer vibes.
Plus, The Rioja Wine Terrace will be returning to bring a diverse array of red, white, and rosé wines, authentic Spanish tapas and exclusive Rioja wine tastings to this year’s festival.

In trademark Lovebox style expect the usual oddities and experiences, from award-winning beatboxers, an afternoon of Afrobeats and the legendary Hip Hop Karaoke in The Sweet Spot – a new bar and social club for 2018, to Best Friend Marriages & Confessionals at The Chapel of Love(box), as well as beauty parlours and vintage markets to get glittered up for the weekend, including In Your Dreams, Out Of The Ordinary and Glitter Palace.
