The North Face threw open the doors of its new Carnaby Street store yesterday evening, welcoming some well known faces in to get an exclusive first look at the brand’s first dedicated Urban Exploration space.
Guests got to check out the exclusive Japanese designed capsule collection, which draws its inspiration from North Face original heritage pieces, some of which were on display for the evening. In keeping with the throw-back vibe, bikers took care of the door security in a nod to the original Cali store set-up back in 1966.
Hop House 13 and Gordon’s Gin kept the drinks flowing, and guests were treated to a Himalayan and Mexican tasting menu and the evening was topped off with an acoustic set instore from singer songwriter Raye who got the store bubbling with her tunes.
The store opens to the public today at 8 Carnaby Street, Soho. It’ll see a host of exclusive drops into next season, with the showcasing of limited edition pieces and famed brand collaborations.
