Revisiting Chelsea’s new and improved ‘The Bletchley’

Oct 9 2017 BY Jovanne Campbell

Earlier this year, we visited The Bletchley and we were in total awe of the unique concept behind the pop-up bar. Well, we have some great news being that the venue has recently announced that they are now permanent residents at their spot in Chelsea. We were invited down to check out their redesigned venue and to see how they have added to their already special concept.

The Bletchley have come up with the world’s first multi-sensory 3D menu, replacing the old paper ones, which help patrons identify their taste and smell preferences. The results are passed onto their mixologists who then craft a highly personalised cocktail experience for  guests. This, alongside with a WW2 “escape room meets cocktail bar”, theme makes for an amazing night out.

Each guest is treated to a welcome cocktail, two completely unique cocktails and two hours of a delightful experience. With guests required to crack codes and riddles in order to move to the next stage and closer to getting their cocktail, it is recommended that guests work together if they want to crack codes as quickly as possible. With some tasks more difficult than others, the amazing bar staff are always on hand to throw you a clue if you get stuck.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves the first time, but we can truly say that the we had an even better experience this time around which is rare when you visit the same place twice. The venue is clever as they switch up the codes and puzzles in order for to visitors have a new experience on each visit. Priced at just £34.99 for three cocktails and a jam-packed night of fun and a night that is completely different to anything you’ve ever experienced, we would highly recommend The Bletchley.
