Things to Watch on Netflix in October

We millennials are an interesting generation, we’ve lived through arguably what can be deemed as the quickest technological advancement that modern history has seen. But similarly, while we have seen this advancement we remember simpler times of corded phones, dial-up internet and even TV-sets! The latter is most pressing as we’re a generation who now consumes television through their laptop and one innovation that’s pushed this is Netflix. The streaming website is fixed our today’s culture and the popular platform is always constantly updating its content and us at Bespoke are going to shed some light on the best things to watch on Netflix right now.




A thrilling Netflix original where two FBI agents try t prevent crimes committed b psychopaths and deal with the many complications that accompany it. With a great cast including Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallanay, Anna Torv and Hannah Gross. If you love crime dramas then Mindhunter will be the perfect watch for you when this debuts on Netflix on October 13th.




After receiving rave reviews following its first season, Riverdale is back for season 2 with a major upgrade of 22 episodes following last season’s 13. Without giving too much away, all the mystery and drama that took place in season 1 is enhanced in season 2 and will have you at the edge of your seat when it returns on October 12th.


Good Will Hunting


If you haven’t seen this film then shame on you but at least you have the blessing of seeing this classic film for the first time. Good Will Hunting is based on a janitor at M.I.T., who has a gift for mathematics but needs help from a psychologist to find direction in his life. The film features a young Matt Damon, the late-great Robin Williams, Ben Affleck and more. You won’t have to wait long to watch this on Netflix as it’ll be up on the platform on October 1st.


Stranger Things 


Stranger Things, one of Netflix’s biggest original shows, is coming back for its second season. The gang of five kids will be facing their biggest challenge yet in season 2 and aside of Eleven being confirmed to be returning to the show nothing else has been revealed. We’ll have to wait until October 27th to find out more.


The Day I Met El Chapo: The Kate del Castillo Story


This three-part documentary series is slightly different from others available as it’ll serve more of a biographic for Kate del Castillo who is a famous television actress who famously interviewed the drug lord. This will contain never-before-seen footage from the encounter with the drug lord. This’ll be with us on October 20th.
