Sneaker Of The Week – Nike Air Max 1 “Master of Air”
Releasing as part of the Air Max day 30th celebration, the design dubbed “Master of Air” fittingly combines some of Nike most iconic Air max 1 silhouettes from its vault. Sitting on a black leather upper, a contrast strip above the sole features the original red toe, alongside treasured designs such as the “Safari” and “Kid Robot” to name a few. This is set to be one of the highly anticipated releases of Air Max day!
The Nike Air Max 1 “Master of Air” releases Saturday 11th March.
Nike Flyknit Racer Crew Blue
The beloved Racer silhouette that features an ultra-light upper made of Nike’s patent flyknit that sits on a dual rubber base for maximum comfort and flexibility. Previously, the upper has been coated in a variety of eye-catching colours and this release proves no different, as hues of blue and hints of yellow are mixed to stunning effect.
The Nike Flyknit Racer “Crew Blue” drops Friday 10th March.
Nike Flyknit Racer “Triple White”
The beloved Racer silhouette that features an ultra-light upper made of Nike’s patent flyknit that sits on a dual rubber base for maximum comfort and flexibility. Releasing so shortly after the highly anticipated “triple Black”, Nike have decided to release a reverse colourway that will appeal to sneakerheads as the sun is starting to peak through. If you can keep them clean, they can complete any outfit and I’m anticipating people mix and matching pairs (one foot black, one white) for those savvy Instagram pictures.
The Nike Flyknit Racer “Triple White” releases Wednesday 8th March.
Concepts x New Balance 990v2 “Tyrian”
Although, personally, I am not the biggest fan of New Balance, their most recent collaboration with Concepts brings a rich design to the 990V2 silhouette. The purple iteration, dubbed “Tyrian”, sits above a crisp white midsole, creating a luxurious colour contrast. Premium suede form the upper alongside tortoiseshell laces and dual branding tips for them all important details.
The Concepts x New Balance 990V2 “Tyrian” releases Friday 10th March.
Coogi x Puma Clydes
The infamous Australian fashion label, Coogi, team up with Puma to finally drop a release date to the previously released pictures of the sneakers.
Using the Clydes silhouette as a canvas, Coogi went to work in applying their vibrant colour palette to two sneakers. The first arrives as a nod to the brands imprints, that you may find familiar with a certain iconic pictures of Biggie Smalls, where he sports a Coogi knitted jumper. While the other sneaker inverts colours, featuring a predominately black other with bold knitted accents. Details include gold tongue branding and 18k gold-plated lace tips.
The Coogi x Puma Clydes release Thursday 9th March.
