Sneaker of the Week – Ronnie Fieg x Dover Street Market x New Balance 574 Sport Collection
The latest collaboration sees living legend, Ronnie Fieg, partner with retailer Dover Street Market and New balance to create an all new silhouette dubbed “574 Sport” in three exclusive and interactive colourways.
The classic New Balance 547 running turned lifestyle silhouette has been brought into the modern era with the inclusion of their latest Fresh Foam midsole technology, bringing the gap between past and present. As with everything with Fieg’s name on it, quality is assured with the use of premium nubuck with perforated panels that makeup the upper. The revamped 547 also includes a mesh inner-sock for a snug fit and co-branding on the insoles.
The unique feature however, is the use of an interchangeable “N” system. Each model arrives with 28 different Velcro N-logos, that can be changed to match your individual style for each and every day. This is a eye-cation addition that offer versatility as these N’s appear in leather and nubuck as well as reflective materials. Each pair pays homage to a contributing partner. The grey model is inspired by New Balance’s most classic colourway, while the Navy is considered Fieg’s favoured version of the original 547. The black rendition relates to Dover street Market’s black brand palette.
The Ronnie Fieg x Dover Street Market x New Balance 574 Sport collection release Friday 7th July from Kith stores and online form both Kith and Dover Street Market.
Nike Air Jordan 5 Pinnacle “Black”
Releasing this weekend is another instalment of the Jordan Brands Pinnacle range. The range is accompanied by extremely high quality, commonly featuring premium leathers, that offer luxury styling off the court.
Nothing changed here as the upgrade appears on the legend, Michael Jordan, 5th signature silhouette. Drenched in sleek black, the mesh panel, common with previous Jordan 5 releases, is substituted for a stripped ribbed texture that matches that found on the tongue. The clean upper sit upon a semi-translucent base for the slightest of contrast.
If your looking for simple quality, this is your trainer, which however, comes at a steep price. Price is set at $400 (convert as you wish) as the Jordan 5 Pinnacle “Black” drops Friday 7th July.
